Cooperative Extension celebrates


Cooperative Extension, formed by Congress to get research-based information to those who need and can use it, celebrated its 100th anniversary.  Extension is part of the land-grant university system--Virginia Tech and Virginia State in my state.  So there was a celebration in Blacksburg at Virginia Tech today.  (A celebration at Virginia State in Petersburg yesterday)
