Singers with the Wilderness Road Chorus add a musically decorated tree to the trees that are part of the Downtown businesses.  The display is in Kent Square.

Former Blacksburg High School

Demolition of the former Blacksburg High School is almost complete.  It was closed in February 2010 when the roof of the gymnasium collapsed.  This view is from the gym side of the building.
