Along Huckleberry Trail


When a bridge was damaged and deemed unsafe for walking trail traffic, the community provided stairs down to the road. Hikers could continue to follow the trail on the other side of the bridge.

Concert--in Squires again


Blacksburg and Virginia Tech offer grand summer entertainment. There are art shows, theatre, and concerts. The pouring rain didn't stop the show which went on in Squires. It was Dixie Power Trio, which has four members. (sorry my best photo of the concert only shows three band members.)
