Hi, I was admiring the photo of the Johnny Appleseed Tree. Is it your tree? It seems to be thriving nicely!
I am familiar with the authentic Johnny Appleseed trees that have been grafted from a documented tree planted by Johnny.
Can you tell me more about the location of this particular tree please?
The family that has the tree have created a native plant garden as their yard. They got the tree from a place that said it was one of those grafted from an authentic tree. The local story is that Johnny Appleseed traveled through Virginia. This is on Turner St. a major road here in Blacksburg.
