 This is the site of planned apartments specifically designed for low-income workers.  There is currently one building....sort of visible on the left.  The project has raised concerns.  The yard-signs show the location near Main St. shopping centers.

 This was taken Friday.  Temperatures in the 50s.  Today is the same.  

House being restored

 House in the historic district is being restored.  It is nearly finished.  It was like the pix on left in 2020.

Lounge where the incident happened

 The deadly shooting occurred in the Melody Hookah Lounge.  There has not been much official reporting the man arrested did livestream his arrest by police.

Near the incident last night

 Blacksburg again made national news today after a deadly shooting at a restaurant....not in this pix but a few yards away.

From Draper Road to Main St.

 From the parking lot by the Farmers Market, it is possible to walk to Main St.  Several of the streets that once connected with Main St. are closed to cars.

Marzano's Pizza

 Another building that has housed many different businesses.  I think it was once the office for what used to be a motel.  The motel is now offices for Virginia Tech.
