The remains of a tree were removed from Little Circle today. Homeowners said they have landscaping plans, so I will check it later.

 Town returned to normal life with students moving into residence halls and apartments.

 Just an old poster.  The celebration is downtown today.  The first one, according to this poster, was 1981.  There was another name when the street fair was started before that....maybe Wilderness Trail Days?

 Yes, the grocery store is an important part of Blacksburg.

New Apartments on Eheart St.

 Another set of apartments is being built at the site of a former middle school.  The photo at left was taken from about the same place in 2012 after the school was demolished.  There is also a new street--Belvedere.

 This is on a street in an old neighborhood, Upland Rd.  The nearby homes are quite more traditional.

Bicentennial Memorial

 Probably there is a plan to open the structure which contains memorabilia from the bicentennial year.

 Few streets have trees and gardens in the middle.  Someone has placed a bench in the median and planted a small flower garden.

 This lovely side of the Montgomery County-Blacksburg-Floyd County is not the entrance.  That is on the Miller Ave. side and near the Huckleberry Trail.
