Tree on Little Circle

The remains of a tree were removed from Little Circle today. Homeowners said they have landscaping plans, so I will check it later.

The tree carving of a bear and cubs is being renovated.  These photos were during its creation.  I am anxious to have her back.

 From the end of Little Circle, the end of Pointe Dr. is two blocks straight ahead.  Still seems it should be one street name.

 There was a tree in the middle of this circle which had to be removed.  New plantings have been started.

 Several of the homes on Little Circle have art in the front yard.

New Construction on Little Circle

 Blacksburg is getting a lot of new housing, including in old neighborhoods.

The creative process...with a chain saw...continues.  Cub seems in a cave near the adult.

These were one day apart.  The artist is creating the sculpture from a damaged tree.  The stump was the pix March 28, 2019.

To Be Sculpted

This tree was damaged in a storm and had to be removed.  However, the plan is to create art.  This is the "before."  It will take a long time.
