 The Cellar is still a fashionable dining establishment.  Its patio is on the Extra Main St.

Rain all day

 Yes, it is important to have rainy days.  The puddles fill the corners and the walking path.

 Dancers on the wall at the Moss Center for the Arts.  

Blacksburg Country Club

 The Country Club has a delightful golf course.  It is in a beautiful valley in the rolling hills of the community no way near Country Club Drive which is downtown.

Lane Stadium football action

 Virginia Tech won the game.  It was celebrated as Military Appreciation day and the Corps of cadets alumni marched on to the field with the current students.

Football Team alumni also had a reunion.

Memorial of 9/11 steel

 This sculpture in Christiansburg, is a way to honor many.

Butterfly garden

 A Scout recognized that the appropriate blooms were started and he provided some additional care for a butterfly garden at a site near the rec center.

Became a birdbath

 Drain in pot under the plant to protect the patio has become a bird bath.  Now I must be sure there is water even though the plants are finished for the season.

Blue Ridge Vocal Connection

 A new singing organization, Blue Ridge Vocal Connection, gave a delightful show today.

Gobblerfest

Many student organizations as well as community groups invite students to learn about what is available to them at the Gobblerfest.  

From the past

 True, the game is about to start at Lane Stadium and I am not there.  Night games are too late for me these days.....but I used to enjoy them.  This is from the past but it will look a lot like this now.

Eastern Continental Divide

 The divide goes through this side of Blacksburg with the sign and blue line on Main St.
