Blacksburg got a white Christmas

 The scenery this morning is traditional.

 The organization of Blacksburg business annually invites members to celebrate with a decorated tree display.  

Memory of last year

 True, no fans were in Lane Stadium today, but there was a football game--Tech lost to Miami.

Veterans Day

As part of Veterans Day observances, the Scout troop 704 collected frayed American flags and will dispose of them properly.

Tree was removed

 The tree may have fallen on the home if it wasn't removed.  it was not thriving.

 Election Day is one of the rare appointments on my calendar these days.

 And the Blue Moon tonight will add to the atmosphere at a time when no trick-or-treaters should be out.
