Plane over golf course

Seems a sleek plane landing at the local airport this morning.

Rescue helicopter

Was close to the helicopter as it took off after a rescue.  The accident was at the exit for Virginia Tech from the 460 bypass.

Burkes Garden, Tazewell County

This flight is getting low enough that we could see Burkes Garden.  Behind the mountain behind the snaky river, is a valley completely surrounded by the mountain.  It is known as God's Thumbprint.

A photography group enjoyed a magnificent demonstration of camera on drones.  The engineering and the art were wonderful.  

Historic airplane

A North American B-25 Mitchell from the Tri-State Warbird Museum in Batavia, Ohio was featured in a flyover at the Virginia Tech football game yesterday.
