It is a very empty town but since classes are being done on-line, the major industry will continue soon.

One of the programs as part of the celebration of women's right to vote was a talk about the issues for African American suffrage.  It was by the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County and the Lifelong Learning Institute at Virginia Tech.
