Along a narrow, winding road just outside Blacksburg heading toward Roanoke, there must have been an older road. That older road must have needed this bridge. The leaves have been there since Fall, but the redbud is blooming as it does every Spring.

Nature does have a way of recycling. I just love carpets of petal blossoms this time of year.
