Cheerleaders got to run with the flag today.  It was a win for Virginia Tech.

One of the Baths

On a tour by the Blacksburg Parks and Recreation Department of the "lost communities" there was a chance to see an abandoned resort from another era.  It was Sweet Water, one of the baths that were popular resorts in an era long ago.  

Old Pros and Dancers

The Old Pros, a band that plays "Big Band" style music got a great crowd for a show...including Swing Dancers, people interesting in enjoying that style.

 Blacksburg history is being maintained at an old section of the community call NewTown.  The Odd Fellows Hall and St. Luke held an event...music, food, and culture...to show the site.

Crimper's Climbing Gym offered students at Virginia Tech a chance to try their abilities at the skills of climbing.
