This field, on the Virginia Tech campus near one of the research centers, seemed to be providing lunch for the geese. I think the geese live near the Duck Pond.

Many decades ago, the Duck Pond froze enough to be used for ice skating. Since it has been cold, I thought I would see if it is frozen today. It was not frozen but this film crew was working and they seemed cold.

I could not find any name for this pond at the corner of Southgate Dr. and Duck Pond Dr. It is several blocks from the Duck Pond, which is a major landmark.

Duck Pond is muddy

Maybe because it has been raining a lot, the Duck Pond, a landmark here, is very muddy. Then again, it is usually muddy.
