Concert on the Drillfield

On a beautiful Friday evening, a nice crowd came to the Virginia Tech drillfield to enjoy a concert by No Strings Attached. There is a show every Friday evening during the summer.

Rain every day

Golf carts in the rain; no one on the course. It continues to rain every day.

This area below Wong Park is designed to provide a drainage basin. Zoning ordinances require it. It has rained every day for many days. It probably has more water in it than when the photo was taken. I will go and look tomorrow.

It was very foggy this morning after a night of storms, this creature was within a few feet of my home.

These fish sellers come to Blacksburg every Thursday and set up shop from their truck. Every Thursday I find myself singing the sad Irish ballad "Sweet Molly Malone" about the fishmonger from Dublin, Ireland.
