The storm caused a lot of trouble from closed roads to power outages (my power).

Virginia Tech police posted this photo.

 "Even Chief Foust got in the act yesterday during the monsoon by helping a little turtle cross the road near the Duck Pond.  We hope he didn't get washed away when the Duck Pond flooded!  (The turtle, not the Chief!  The Chief is fine!)"

This flight is getting low enough that we could see Burkes Garden.  Behind the mountain behind the snaky river, is a valley completely surrounded by the mountain.  It is known as God's Thumbprint.
