An arts district is being created in downtown.  The Lofts at the Lyric are in the center of the district.

Real Dogwood

This seems to be one of the real dogwood trees.  It is blooming at Harding Ave. Elementary School.

A limousine service with a sense of the style of the community.

Art Center Farmers Market

Farmers Market is open regularly and the construction of the art center seems to change every day.

Community Band Concert

Wonderful concert by the Blacksburg Community Band.  It included Variations on a Hymn Tune in memory of the Titanic tragedy by John Raymond Howell, guest conductor and the premier of The King in Yellow, overture, by Steven E. Brown, associate conductor.

A shopping center at the south side of Blacksburg.
