Historic building on Draper Road. A story written in 1976 in the local newspaper, the News Messenger, said the house had been built for $10,000 in 1882.
A bookstore hosted a reading by Fred First. One of his books, "Slow Road Home" he describes as a "field trip through time and place." The place is his beloved Blue Ridge Mountains.
