Michele Obama's face

This Main St. business is offering a  commemorative tshirt with Michele Obama's likeness on it.  She will be here Saturday to speak at the Virginia Tech commencement ceremony.  We have tshirts for everything.

Installing traffic signal

Watched the installing of a traffic signal.  A lot of new traffic signal lights have been put up in the past months.  The worker makes is seem that the signal is not heavy and easily handled.

Reseating Lane Stadium

Virginia Tech home football games are played in Lane Stadium.  This week, season ticket buyers got to select new seats.  The very specific order in which they selected was based on criteria that included long-time fan and level of giving.  The event took place in Lane Stadium.

Still under construction

The arts center is appearing in a higher profile every day.  I think this is the back of the stage.
